Bruce Daisley, EMEA Vice President of Twitter

For our blog this week, we’ve been speaking to social media expert, Bruce Daisley. Social media has become ingrained in our everyday lives both personally and professionally and we can now easily access a number of channels through all of our devices, meaning many of us are now constantly switched on. However, as someone whose job role focuses so much on technology, does Bruce really trust everything about technology? This week we asked him:

“What one piece of technology do you tend not to trust?”

Bruce said:

“It’s hard to ever be at one with phone batteries. Even with the percentage guide turned on it the remaining power is pretty much close to a guess. At least in a car, when you hit empty, you know you’ve got at least another 30 miles trundling down the middle lane. With a phone leaving home short of 80% is close to idiocy.”

If you would like to join Bruce and a line up of incredible speakers at our event on May 17, you can get your tickets here.
